Backend Engineering in 2026 is not how it used to be in the past. It is no longer about just writing code or implementing new features, it is more about thinking end-to-end, solving complex problems and designing systems. Hi, I'm Yael, and I am a backend engineer here at Clarity. One of the technologies that I am most excited about is, of course, AI. AI maybe makes something much easier and faster, which is great, but it also brings the whole new set of challenges. It pushes us to think differently about how we build systems, about how we use this powerful and world-changing technology in our daily work, and also how it can combine it in the product we bring to our customers.
